Microdermabrasion stimulates the production of new skin cells and collagen. Less aggressive than laser resurfacing, microdermabrasion is a non-surgical treatment that does not require an anaesthetic.

Not like other Spas, we apply customized serum and mask after a microdermabrasion treatment.
It soothes your skin and reduces the redness.

While the effects of microdermabrasion are not as dramatic as those of laser resurfacing, recovery time after the procedure is much shorter. Though there may be some redness afterwards, most patients can return to work immediately.

What is Microdermbrasion?

Microdermabrasion, often referred to as “Microderm” is one of the most popular procedures done in the UnitedStates today. It’s an exfoliating process (since it removes the top layer of dead skin cells) and it helps unclog the pores of your skin cells, but this can also bring the bacteria that causes acne to the surface. This skin care treatment can improve the appearance of:

    º Brown spots
    º Shallow acne scars
    º Hyperpigmentation (melasma)
    º Sun-damaged skin
    º Dull or aging skin
    º Fine lines and wrinkles
º Uneven skin tone and texture

Microdermabrasion is non invasive and it has also proven to be efficient in the removal of stretch marks.

Microdermabrasion has become a very popular skin resurfacing technique and is generally preferred for its low risk and minimal chances of side effects while providing a myriad of benefits that can help you eliminate many skin changes developed due to aging as well as from other free radicals and pollutants.

You need to wait 2 weeks in between treatments, so that the skin has enough time to heal.

How soon will I see results?

You will notice an immediate improvement after your first treatment. Your skin will have a fresh pink glow and smoother texture. Improvements continue throughout your treatment program.

What should I do after my treatment?

Following your microdermabrasion treatment you may find that you experience skin peeling; and your esthetician will recommend that you use a moisturizer and sun screen following the procedure.

You can resume your daily activities immediately after your Microdermabrasion treatment. It is recommended you avoid sun exposure on the treated area for at least 24 hours. Also, because your outer layer of skin has been exfoliated, the treated area will be sensitive to hot water and sweat for the first day.

Are There Any Microdermabrasion Side Effects?

Side effects are caused primarily because highly sensitive skin that a patient may have. They are generally a result of inappropriate usage, or usage in conjunction with other drugs or ailments.

The most common microdermabrasion side effects can appear on your facial skin and include: Redness, itching, dryness and flaking of the skin. This is due to the fact that the skin has become extra sensitive to sunlight. These symptoms are in many ways similar to sun burn and these usually subside a few days after you have the procedure.
